and exhausted and excited and wanting time to slow down and wanting time to speed up and not ever wanting time to speed up and lazy and motivated and consistent and anxious and not sure how to convey all that I am in words and happy that the sun is out this morning.

The Ultimate Happy List
Emily Faulstich, of one of my favorite blogs, Hawaiian Coconut, recently (and mysteriously) asked her readers to submit a list of things that make them happy. I was in Asheville at the time and couldn’t get my act together, so unfortunately I didn’t submit anything (there’s always next time!). Emily just announced that she’s compiled the list and is selling it on Etsy printed on huge perfect posters for $18. I’m thinking it will be perfect in my studio. 🙂
Since I missed the deadline for the list, here are five things that are making me happy right now:
- A fluffy cat laying in my lap while writing this post
- Opportunities presenting themselves as I manifest my dream life
- Warm sunny weather and the trees getting progressively greener
- Lena Dunham on Twitter
- A break from traveling and a welcome return to my home and routine

The Most Relaxing Song in the World

Apparently scientists have determined that this song by the band Marconi Union is the most relaxing song in the world. I’ve been hitting play on it for the past hour and I think I agree (although I admit it is close to my bedtime!). It’s totally different from classical music, which I often put on when trying to relax, only to find myself completely distracted by the song itself.

Check out outgrow.me, an online marketplace to buy products that were successfully funded on Kickstarter and similar sites (so you know they’re internet approved!). This iPhone lens clip looks awesome.
