An interesting thought to ponder this weekend.

Dream Getaway: Montana
I have to admit that I am feeling totally exhausted by my day-to-day responsibilities. My life is one that I’ve architected into something I love, so complain, I can not. But I do think my brain could use a good old-fashioned shut down for a week’s worth of time. I think a warm weathered Montana would suit my requirements perfectly.
- Wander by foot and peek at the wildlife.
- Hike to the places with the best views.
- Lay out under the stars, every night.
- Soak in the Boiling River over the border at Yellowstone.
- Oblige myself with four-hour long picnics.
- Read every Tom Robbins book.
- Find the best fries in the nearest town.

Something I’m Struggling With Lately
Struggling in that I’m an introvert: conducive to stressing out about stranger interaction, and a perfectionist: one who is off schedule and freaking out. Typical Monday strife.

I Suggest You Read This and Then I Suggest You Do This
It’s a good one – read it on High Existence and then leave me a challenge in the comments. I’ll return the favor 🙂

Night Dweller
This one gets into my water glass every night. It’s her thing.
That perfect glow is care of my salt lamp which is easily my favorite light in the house.

What I’m Doing Instead of New Years Resolutions
This year, instead of setting goals, I’ve decided to just do what I want to do. So instead of “Learn to Play 10 Songs on the Guitar,” everyday I’m picking up my guitar and practicing a few new things. Instead of “Have the Best Body of My Life,” I get out my yoga mat at some point during the day and spend a few minutes stretching. These simple daily steps are going to get me so much farther than I ever have with resolutions. They keep me accountable and excited to work towards being the person I want to be. I can’t wait to share my progress at the end of 2014!
