Here are the shots from our trip to Chicago last month. There are a lot of photos so I’m going to put them behind a cut to help with loading – click here!
The beginning of the drive when we were still high on Lunchables, boxes of candy and a newfound radio station featuring an asian rock opera soundtrack. YES it was as good as it sounds and no I have no idea what it was from.
Perfect farm. I’m always scouting for future land for ourselves and everyone I know. Property addiction!
More of the farm.
Blurry shot of the atrium of our hotel. There was a bar under/inside of that little forest scape but unfortunately we were too busy to grab a drink there.
Cloudy girl day by the pool. You can’t tell by looking at the picture but I actually had bleach processing in the ends of my hair, protected by a plastic bag which I hid inside a messy bun! Yes I am that tacky.
Perks of boyfriend doing a competition for Red Bull.
Another morning at the pool. This time with boyfriend and sans bleach.
Konrad’s grandmother’s garden. I’m a sucker for an arbor.
Photo on her refrigerator of the sand dunes. The colors are perfect.
Hard to describe the feeling when you are away for awhile and you see that skyline (even better by plane).
More property scouting on the drive home.
PART TWO! Going to post the second half of this later in the week, which will be all art/Goons related.
